1. What are the hours of operation for each service?

The office is open from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Individuals receive services typically between 8am and 9pm. The amount of time is depending on the authorization from your insurance company, and type of services being rendered. The specific time of service is coordinated between the client and the facilitator.

2. What is the turn-around time for referrals and employment?

We typically contact referrals within 24 hours of receiving the potential client’s information. We contact prospective employees usually within 2 business days of receiving the application to set up an interview.

3. What are the costs for services?

The cost is dependent on your specific type of insurance. If you receive Medicaid and are approved for services there would be no out of pocket cost.

4. How do I get approved for services?

Once a referral is made, one of our clinicians will contact you to conduct a client screening and assessment. This information is shared with your insurance company. The insurance company then sends a response to the clinical recommendations of services you wish to be enrolled in and determines if you are approved and for how many hours for what length of time.

5. What are the qualifications for employment with BMOS?

Qualifications depend on the position you are applying for. All of our job descriptions are available under the Employment tab of the menu.

6. What is the length of time services could be offered?

The length of time an individual receives services depends on the individual and the insurance company as well as the type of services being applied for.

7. What are the requirements after referral approval?

Once a referral is received a clinician will be in contact with you to perform a client screening as well as an assessment to determine eligibility. The response from the insurance company depends on the types of services being requested. Once an approval is obtained we would be able to assign you a counselor/group and begin rendering services.

8. What are the requirements to keep services?

These requirements will be reviewed in client orientation; however, the basics are as follows: Clients must participate in sessions and take their medications as prescribed. Client must be respectful to all BMOS employees. Clients cannot be under the influence of illegal substances while in services.
